Forum RulesThese are the main guidelines to the forum. These rules apply to all of the boards. These rules also count for private messaging, and the Cbox. We also have rules for roleplaying, you can view them HERE.
As for punishments, it all depends on the rule(s) you've broken, and the severity in which it was broken. So the punishments given will vary depending on those two factors.
1) NO pornography, offensive, violent, or adult rated material of any form. This includes videos, images, fanfics, and anything else containing mature content.
2) NO profanity. Excessive use of stars (*) in place of swears is also not tolerated.
3) NO trolling. If you hate something, then don't pay so much attention to it.
4) NO spamming. The only time this is allowed is on the spam board, but please, use common sense and don't go overboard.
5) NO flaming. If you have a problem with another member, then please talk to them through private messages. But even then, please talk to them in a civil manner.
6) NO bashing. If you dislike a character, couple, movie, or anything else, then please have some respect for the people who do, and don't bash it. This also includes calling characters "Mary Sue" or anything of the sort. If you have to criticize something, and you can't be constructive about it, then don't even bother.
7) All decisions made by the staff are final. If you happen to oppose a decision, then fine, everyone has their own opinion. But don't attack us or anything for it.
8) DO NOT ask to be a staff member. If you do, then it will greatly decrease your chance of ever becoming one. And if you are currently a staff member, please don't ask for promotions either. The ONLY time you may ask to be a staff member, is if we have openings and we post a thread asking for members to send us applications.
9) NO discussions about illegal material, including roms, warez, or any other illegal material.
10) Religious/Political discussions are allowed as long as things are kept in civil manner. Threads relating to such topics can often result in massive flame wars due to people disagreeing with other people's views and so forth. And please don't go around preaching about your ways, because not everyone has the same views you do.
11) All users are limited to ONE account per person. However, if you have a friend or family member who wishes to join, and uses the same computer as you then please let us know. Otherwise the excess accounts may be deleted without notice.
12) NO impersonating other people/members. It's basically identity theft, and it's highly un-tolerated.
13) DO NOT post off-site links that lead to potentially harmful content, such as viruses, spyware, trojans, keyloggers, etc.
14) NO constantly blinking/strobing images. There are more than likely people in this community who suffer from Epilepsy, so please have some respect and do not post/use such images.
Staff MembersHere is a list of all the current forum staff members. Please feel free to contact any of us if you have any further questions.
Don't expect a whole load of activity out of me right now. Life is fairly busy and sometimes hectic, and I have little time to do things here like I want. Sorry

One final note I would like to add, is to ask fellow staff members to refrain from posting in this thread, unless they are announcing an update to the rules. Any other posts will be removed. If you feel you need to discuss any changes to the rules, then use the suggestions board.
Updates: August 15, 2008 - New rules added. October 31, 2008 - Rule 13 added. Staff list updated. November 3, 2008 - Rule 14 added.
Don't expect a whole load of activity out of me right now. Life is fairly busy and sometimes hectic, and I have little time to do things here like I want. Sorry
